  • Structural design, analysis, and optimization of structural reliability/strength through analytical and numerical methods
  • Study of the factors determining the structural reliability of marine structures (mechanical properties of materials, marine environment, corrosion, wear, type of loading)
  • Structural analysis and design of composite materials manufactured using the fiber winding method
  • Novel technologies of welding between metallic and non-metallic materials
  • Shipbuilding processes, correlation between microstructure and structural reliability.
